"Ask me anything" is a question & answer format that I most associate with Reddit: you can take questions from optionally anonymous people on the internet and answer them. It can be fun!
Some folks have set up their own self-hosted AMAs on their own websites: Mikkel Malmberg's is one of my favorites. My website could use one, but I keep things super simple over there so the little bit of data storage & CRUD involved in an AMA is too much for me.
