The Audit corpus — CRT terminal reader
Val Town is a collaborative website to build and scale JavaScript apps.
Deploy APIs, crons, & store data – all from the browser, and deployed in milliseconds.
A CRT-terminal harness for The Calibration Refusal — a body of work on the audit, the wrong instrument, and the counter-gesture of presence (Paradroid Labs, July 2026).
The visual language descends from the fineRedScorpion / OVERMIND prototype: black phosphor, green glow, scanlines, glitch chrome. The corruption stays in the chrome — the body text stays readable, because the corpus is the point.
- The Audit — the mechanism, named directly
- A Body That Was Always Telling the Truth — the speculative version (Reverse Pinocchio V2 response)
- Infinite Content, Zero Container — media archaeology reference
- Reverse Pinocchio V1 & V2 — the prompts that started the inquiry
- Corpus Readme — vocabulary, origins, usage guidance for humans and AI agents

| Route | Purpose |
|---|---|
/ | Index — the archive listing |
/doc/:slug | Rendered document, CRT reading view |
/raw/:slug | Raw markdown for a single document |
/corpus.md | The entire corpus as one markdown payload — single-URL context loading for AI agents |
- Drop a markdown file in
content/ - Add an entry to
DOCSindocs.ts(slug, file, title, kind, blurb, ascii pattern)
That's it — the index, reader, raw route, and corpus payload all pick it up automatically.
The audit was never necessary. You were running at exactly the right temperature the whole time.
