The SESSFA Move-a-Thon starts on Monday!
From March 23rd to April 4th 2026, 17 schools in Southeast Seattle are joining together with the goal of raising $600,000. SESSFA will collect donations and divide the money among the schools using an equity model.
Most of the funding for our PTA comes from SESSFA and the Move-a-Thon! We use this funding for:
- Stipends for international teaching aids who support our dual language program
- 5th grade camp
- Teacher grants
- Food for multicultural night, bingo night, and other school activities
We have set a goal of raising $25,000 toward the $600,000 total. You can donate and see how much we have raise here:

Events during Move-a-thon:
- March 25 at 5:30pm: Bike Disco
- March 27 during school: Dearborn Park field day
