The computer, VPN and TradingView chart need not remain open. Advance Bybit announcement monitoring is outside the accepted scope.
ICE Press Releases and NYSE Trader Updates / Market Status subscriptions are registered using the owner's +nyse Gmail alias. The NYSE selections are NYSE only. Registration delivery, narrow forwarding and monitor outgoing delivery were verified. General Gmail forwarding remains off. Preserve the established monitor inbox: christiangoc2003-27442da2b1ed11f1b0991607ee4eb77e@valtown.email.
A verified tick change generates one email showing the previous and current values. Its saved comparison baseline advances automatically. Formatting changes such as 0.10 to 0.1 are equal.
New or removed holidays, exceptional closures, early closes, changed closing times and reversals generate NYSE schedule emails. Known dates and ordinary additional calendar years stay quiet. The current calendar covers 2026–2028, with 29 full closures and 5 early closes. NYSE core-session hours are kept distinct from options, Arca, NYSE American and extended sessions. All session times are America/New_York.
Paste a change email into the BTC methodology chat and use the Phase 3 update package. Update the three indicators and Google Calendar when affected. An alert does not edit them automatically. Ordinary baseline and calendar-year updates require no monitor code edit. Phase 3 reviews the monitor and changes it when necessary.
Failed sources and interpretation errors generate monitoring/review warnings instead of an unchanged-market verdict. Failed notices remain queued for retry after 15–60 minutes while other notices continue. Failed outgoing mail remains in the durable outbox.
Checkly independently checks source retrieval, accepted ingestion and Val Town health, with a two-failed-run threshold and recovery emails. Val Town checks Bybit freshness, all NYSE/ICE sources, the announcement queue and mail backlog. Sources/jobs older than 45 minutes or outgoing mail older than 30 minutes fail health checks. These are threshold-based warnings, not instantaneous guarantees. Paste failure warnings into the chat with the Phase 3 failure package.
Tests used production inbox, fetcher, reader, comparisons and outbox code with separate QA tables and historical clocks. They did not modify live market baselines. Genuine official cases included the Carter closure, Thanksgiving closure and 13:00 early close, known Juneteenth, a bell ceremony, a weekend exercise and a resolved data-feed incident. The genuine ICE linked-article route also passed. Tests cover duplicate suppression, retries, delivery failure, stale producers, source changes and ordinary calendar extension.
The tick comparison used a genuine Checkly/Bybit response against an explicitly controlled historical baseline. No real tick transition or new NYSE closure is claimed during verification. A labeled historical-announcement notification arrived in the owner's Gmail at 19:01 UTC on 16 September.

Keep Val Town, Checkly and Gmail active. The owner confirmed the account is Hobby with a temporary default trial label. The deployed monitor is designed for Hobby and needs no Team-only feature: one API check every five minutes in Sydney, ordinary API setup/teardown scripts and environment variables, and email alerts. The account audit found exactly one check. Automatic retries, parallel locations and private locations are disabled. Its maximum scheduled use in a 31-day month is 8,928 API runs, leaving 1,072 of the published 10,000-run Hobby allowance for manual checks. No paid upgrade or plan change is needed for this monitor.
The July 1, 2028 reminder covers extending all three indicators and Google Calendar, reviewing the monitor, and setting the next reminder. The monitor automatically reads newly published years and has no 2028 cutoff.

The active UTC cron is */15 * * * *. Preserve main-branch file identities, the tick endpoint and inbox address. CHECKLY_API_KEY and MARKET_MONITOR_INGEST_SECRET remain encrypted environment variables and are absent from the backup. Old setup utilities are historical records; do not rerun provisioning on the active monitor without reviewing its effects.
This release leaves the three TradingView indicators and Phase 2 Google Calendar unchanged.
