It's not surprising my Bluesky posts don't get many likes. I don't have many followers and honestly I'm not a great poster. I even call myself boring in my bio. With so few likes, every like is meaningful to me. Especially when there's only a single ❤️ on the post. I know it's just someone pushing a button, but that little one-to-one connection across cyberspace, to say "I see you, even if nobody else does", it means something.
But it means something a little different when that person is your mother.
