Logo Upload Instructions

To upload the new transparent anchor logo to your Val Town project:

Step 1: Get your Val Town API Token

  1. Go to https://www.val.town/settings/api
  2. Generate a new API token
  3. Copy the token

Step 2: Set the environment variable

export VAL_TOWN_API_TOKEN="your_token_here"

Step 3: Run the upload script

deno run --allow-read --allow-net --allow-env scripts/upload-logo.ts

What this does:

  1. Reads the transparent logo from /Users/tijs/projects/Anchor/Assets/New/anchor-logo-transparent.png
  2. Uploads it to your Val Town project as static/anchor-logo.png
  3. The website will then serve it at /static/anchor-logo.png

Current Status:

  • ✅ Logo HTML updated in header to use /static/anchor-logo.png
  • ✅ Static file handler added to serve the logo
  • ⏳ Logo needs to be uploaded using the script above

Once uploaded, the new anchor logo will appear in the website header, replacing the emoji anchor.
