A mystical orrery simulation inspired by ancient Dacian astronomy and temple architecture. This web-based application simulates celestial bodies orbiting in a temple-like interface with dragon arms, ritual calendars, and bio-control systems.
- Celestial Mechanics: Realistic orbital simulation using Newtonian gravity
- Dragon Arms: Mystical dragon-shaped arms that connect to and carry planetary spheres
- Ritual Calendar: Circular calendar displaying ancient Dacian months
- Bio-Control System: Slime mold simulation that affects the orrery's behavior
- Crystal Sensor: Light-sensitive crystal that responds to bio-control levels
- Interactive Controls: Pause/play, speed control, and month advancement
- Sun: Central golden sphere with glow effects
- Earth: Bronze sphere orbiting the sun
- Moon: Smaller bronze sphere with lunar orbit
- Mars: Red planet with characteristic orbit
- Jupiter: Largest planet with extended orbit
The ritual calendar displays the traditional Dacian months:
- Martisor, Florar, Ciresar, Cuptor, Gustar, Rapciune
- Brumarel, Brumar, Undrea, Gerar, Faurar, Dragobete
Special festivals are highlighted, particularly the Festival of Dragobete.
- Pause/Play: Toggle simulation
- Speed +/-: Adjust time acceleration (1x to 10x)
- Advance Month: Progress through the ritual calendar
- Bio-Control: Automatically oscillates, affecting simulation speed
- Built with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript
- Real astronomical data for orbital mechanics
- Responsive design with mystical temple aesthetics
- Smooth 60 FPS animation with orbital trail rendering
