VELION Organic Discoverability Plan

Visibility is a distribution problem, not a metric to fabricate.

Publish useful artifacts

  • tagged public releases with concise release notes
  • reproducible demo commands
  • benchmark methodology and raw local results
  • technical architecture notes with diagrams
  • issue templates that invite reproducible bug reports and research questions
  • CONTRIBUTING and SECURITY guidance

Engineer-facing outreach

After publication, share the repository only where relevant: technical communities, research discussions, developer profiles, project website, and public changelogs. Lead with runnable artifacts and limitations, not grand claims.

Repository hygiene

  • short README entrypoint
  • topics/tags relevant to actual content
  • one canonical page per major claim
  • stable links to code, tests, benchmarks, and evidence
  • releases rather than repetitive SEO commits

Forbidden

No purchased/fake stars, fake forks, fake users, sockpuppet engagement, fabricated citations, fake partnerships, or misleading adoption metrics.

Success is measured by genuine external use, discussion, issues, contributions, citations, and repeat visits over time.
