Principal Investigator

\n The Sea Ice Research Group at McGill University, led by Professor Bruno Tremblay, is dedicated to understanding the complex dynamics of sea ice in polar regions and its role in the global climate system.\n

\n Our research is centered on sea ice at the interface between the ocean and the atmosphere. As the Arctic transitions from a perennial to a seasonal ice cover (often referred to as the \"Antarctification\" of the Arctic Ocean), our work becomes increasingly important for understanding and predicting global climate patterns.\n

\n Our interdisciplinary team combines expertise in remote sensing, climate modeling, oceanography, and field observations to advance our knowledge of how sea ice is changing in response to climate change.\n
